About 2 years ago, the family's coffee garden entered the old and inefficient stage, so Mr. Nguyen Van Doa's family in Nam Ha commune (Lam Ha district, Lam Dong) planned to convert plants. When he returned to Don Duong district, Duc Trong (Lam Dong), saw that people growing asparagus brought high economic efficiency, so he learned and decided to invest.
After mastering the care techniques, taking the initiative in capital and finding the market, Mr. Doa's family converted 1ha of old coffee into asparagus. He shared, growing asparagus for him is not too difficult because the plant is suitable for climate and soil. Fertilization is also done by the family according to the organic process of clean agriculture.

The gardener said: “Watering asparagus is done through a sprinkler system. As for fertilizers, the family applies cow manure and composted agricultural by-products to the plants. In addition, biological products are also used to irrigate plants to ensure nutrition and prevent pests".

In which, 8 households have harvested with an average yield of 100 kg of bamboo shoots/ha/day,” said Mr. Doa.
The production is on a large scale and the products are of high quality, so the output for agricultural products is always guaranteed. Cooperatives in Lam Dong province is implementing the VietGAP production process and registering the traceability code to meet market demand.
